Everyone has a story, and this is mine.

From a young age, art fascinated and entranced me, igniting vivid dreams and aspirations. Despite this allure, I never quite took the initiative to fully explore and develop that artistic inclination pulsating within me. As a child, my games often involved sewing on my mother’s old machine, fashioning doll dresses with the intent of incorporating them into make-believe sales ventures. I remember fashioning a clothesline using colored wire, crafting both hangers and the hanging pieces from the same wire for my imaginative displays.

As a teenager, I harbored a strong desire to learn sewing and eagerly enrolled in a sewing course. However, due to circumstances that evade my memory, I was unable to continue pursuing this passion. Nevertheless, my love for creative expression persisted. Alongside sewing, I found joy in drawing, painting, and crafting with my hands. This passion led me to pursue studies in decoration and interior design at university. Yet, during that time, these emerging fields presented limited opportunities, prompting me to pivot and embark on a different path—I chose to pursue a career in law. Surprisingly, this shift culminated in graduating with honors.

In later years, life steered me along different paths, yet my persistent desire to create with my hands lingered. Unfortunately, I frequently postponed nurturing and developing my innate talent, causing my creativity to slumber. Despite the passage of time, the ember of creativity persisted, quietly pulsating within me. After many years, the subtle melody that had long played within me crescendo into an undeniable symphony. Its volume became too resonant to ignore, giving birth to Carmela—a culmination of that enduring artistic spirit.
