HOW TO TAKE YOUR BODY MESSURMENTS
1) BUST : Place the measuring tape all around the body passing over the most prominent part of the bust (total circumference)
2) WAIST : Measure the waist where the body bends. Bend from side to side so you can identify exactly where to measure. You can put an elastic band around your waist to mark the correct placement of the waist.
3) HIP CONTOUR # 1 : Measure about 10 cm from the waist down. Measure hips at the fullest part usually around the seat.
4) HIP CONTOUR # 2 : Measure about 20 cm from the waist down. Measure the hips at the fullest part usually around the seat.
5) BACK WAIST LENGTH : Measure from the highest part of shoulder, at the base of the neck (in the center, not the side) to the center of the waistline.
6) FRONT WAIST LENGTH : Measure from the highest part of shoulder at the base of the neck, to the waist, placing the measuring tape over the most prominent part of the bust.
7) CHEST HEIGHT : Measure from the shoulder, at the base of the neck, to the prominent of the chest.
8) HIP LENGTH # 1 : Measure about 10 cm from the waist down.
9) HIP LENGTH # 2 : Measure about 20 cm from the waist down.
10) BUST SEPARATION : Measure horizontally, between the most outstanding breast point.
11) BACK WIDTH : Is measured horizontally across the shoulder blades, just between the back armpit angles.
12) BUST WIDTH : It is measured from arm to arm, at the junction of the arm joint.
13) NECK CONTOUR : At the base of your neck, wrap the tape measure all around your neck, and keep one finger under the tape measure to leave breathing room.
14) SHOULDER WIDTH : The shoulder measurement is taken from the neck to the crown of the sleeve.
15) TOTAL ARM LENGTH : This measurement is taken from the shoulder to the circumference of the wrist
16) ARM HIGH TO ELBOW :
17) ARM CIRCUNSFERENCE : The measurement is taken at the thickest part of the arm.
18) WRIST CIRCUNSFERENCE
19) WIDTH OF THE BACK AT THE SHOULDERS : It is measured from the edge of the left side of the shoulder to the right side.
ATTENTION:
If taking so many measurements is difficult for you, I want you to know that we can make your garment with just 4 MEASUREMENTS, SHOULDERS, BUST, WAIST AND HIPS.
